Girl Power Squash Program

My name is Lucy Basso, and I’m on the Staples High School Girls Varsity team. I started playing squash in 8th grade after moving to Westport from London. I quickly developed a passion for the sport and joined the high school team. In addition to squash, I love working with kids. I worked as a camp counselor this summer at Camp Y-Ki in New Canaan, and as an Inklings Ambassador, I mentor middle schoolers in Westport in their journalism clubs. I hope Girl Power Squash will inspire young girls to play squash for a lifetime.
